I would love to see thousands on here. For now we mostly rely on word of mouth and that can be slow. Most of the extra ones this month have come back rather than just joined. We need to keep finding new people and then coaching them as they find their way. That can take some effort, but if each of us brings in a couple then we will get somewhere.
I’m about to start a new long term series of posts called “village life” documenting some of the things happening here in Spencers Wood. I’ve got one in draft right now and some photos to add to it. You will see it later.
I’m going to share the post with a number of people from this village and I’ll hope they will share that on themselves. So eventually people will get used to me being a local blogger and photographer. So they will be used to seeing me around.
It would be cool to build some Hive communities around actual communities to share stuff of interest. I'd love to see people move away from doing this on Facebook.
That would be a great thing. Need to build people’s trust in Hive and explain that fundraising could be part and parcel of such a project. That is alongside traditional currency for raising funds.
