    That's a big jump in users transacting... Any idea what happened?

    There's no increase in new accounts so it seems some old accounts became active again. Could be bots.

    Possibly because of Leofinance and all the defi stuff going on. People probably decided to buy some more leo and went through hive for that.

    That' seems like an unlikely explanation, given the similar increase in the number of posts as well. Bots seem more likely, unless someone just onboarded a lot of new users.
