A 'transacting account' is a Hive account that made at least one transaction on the Hive blockchain. This can be a vote, post, comment, transfer, power up or HBD conversion. Users who only read from the Hive blockchain without interacting are not included. The actual number of 'Active users' is therefore much higher than the accounts transacting.

Would be great to see greatest power downs too...
and also, maybe you could prepare Steem vs. Hive stats? It would be good to now if we are winning or not.
Agreed. I'm surprised to see this high of powerdown during the first few days.
It's likely due to people already having powerdowns in progress when the fork happened and not gotten round to cancelling them.
you might be right!
Additionally, there might be some who lost faith in both chains and leave?
I hope these are not too many because we are making great progress here :)
hive vs steem stats would be great :)
Great report, thanks 👍
Nice! Thanks for your work!
Awesome, I will check a lot in the coming weeks the evolution of those stats!
We are already having about 25% of active accounts of STEEM. That seems great. It's great to see you here on HIVE.
I am loving the new look of your charts @penguinpablo! I am also glad to see you've made the move. Here we go! All the best to you and yours ❤🎶🙏
Congratz for your first!!! 👍
Surprising amount of power down. Are those the actual power downs or the planned power downs.
I ask because my Steem power downs carried over and I only stopped them today.
@binance-hot 'powered down' 2,443,347 HIVE yesterday. They have to power down all their vested HIVE tokens to distribute them to their clients.
Yes, I forgot. @binance-hot has bit of a problem having fallen for @justinsunsteem's fake promises.
Very nice
@penguinpablo, I will like to say good to see you on hive blockchain community. The statistics is awesome. You truly followed it up. Gracias.
Very cool to see you doing these reports over here @penguinpablo! It'll be interesting to see what sorts of patterns take shape, after a while.
Some interesting numbers there. Are steemmonsters creating Hive accounts? I thought they were sticking with Steem for now. Lots of powering down, but that is probably just people looking to cash out. I expect to see lots of Steem being bought to power up as people dump their Steem, assuming the Hive is available. I will be looking at the options for that.
How are people converting HBD to Hive? That is not working for me in PeakD.
I posted yesterday about witnesses. There are lots of inactive ones that still have votes. We need to support those who are making Hive happen.
BTW Cool job on updating the look of the graphs.
I tried updating my witnesses through peakd and had a little trouble.
Perhaps others are too.
Have you set up your active key? I am using Hive Keychain and can vote or unvote witnesses. What problem do you have?
Hivesigner is also working I think. I also need to cancel my power down and power up everything, just realized after seeing this post/discussions.
I got it going now. Thank you. I was confusing myself and using the wrong tools. Thank you!
@binance-hot 'powered down' 2,443,347 HIVE yesterday. They have to power down all their vested HIVE tokens to distribute them to their clients.
Converting HBD can be done using a CLI wallet. It's a bit technical though.
Good work and glad that you’re here!
Whoa there. Looking through the site, it feels a lot more active than the numbers show.
Thanks for the updates, hope it keeps growing.
A little worried about those Hivedowns... not a good sign.
No worries about the power down. @binance-hot has to power down their Hive tokens.
Binance 'powered down' 2,443,347 HIVE yesterday.
Oh, that makes sense. Thanks for the information/education.
I'm glad to see you doing the stats here in Hive now.
Great one!
Nice to see this stats here :)
Ahh awesome, I was waiting for this! 7,777 jackpot.
It may seem like a small amount but there will be some stragglers and if all of us can bring back one old steemian who left and one new user, that’s 21,000 :-). With our biggest drama behind us and a new name, that’s enough to really get some momentum
Unless the new drama is in the name. I'm wondering what will happen to that "cease and desist" order from that "other" hive blockchain.
More details ? What's the "other" hive blockchain ?
Other hive blockchain isn't a blockchain. It just uses the word blockchain in the name, companies did that to get attention in 2017
https://cointelegraph.com/news/canadian-miner-hive-blockchain-issues-cease-and-desist-to-steem-fork-hive
I don't know if this has any weight, but it sure does look like more drama (or free advertisement).
Not sure. It’s a little awkward but it seems like they don’t have much to stand on right? They don’t have the name copyrighted from what I heard. I don’t understand this stuff
Well, it makes me question what a blockchain is and who governs it...
Then it makes me want to keep blogging and leave the details to the "experts"
We are entirely governed by witnesses now, and they are decided by stakeholders. I honestly don't see how crypto is sustainable, but I don't see how the world economy is sustainable and you gotta pay the bills somehow :-). I think and hope crypto is just A transitional tool to more sharing and decency because it stirs things up a bit and temporarily gives people like us a chance to amass resources
Oooooooh... I was wondering if HBD conversions were live or not! I didn't want to risk pressing the button yet, just in case. 😅
Glad to welcome you to the new HIVE. Statistics show an increase in interactions. Personally, I would be interested to see comparisons with STEEM statistics.
Here's my Steem report to compare:

Thanks for mentioning eSteem app. Kindly join our Discord or Telegram channels to learn more about eSteem, don't miss our amazing updates.
Follow @esteemapp as well!
I love these.
Great to see your stats here.
Glad to see you on HIVE as well. For some reason I'm having problems with Steempeak.com and steemit.comI guess the new witnesses aren't doing a great job. Please continue posting on STEEM as well. It'll help to make comparisons with data.
How we can convert hive dollar into hive instantly ?
Twitter
more users/content creators if I can, in some small way.
Post upvoted here of course 🙃#posh Giving you the credit of course @penguinpablo. Trying to help onboard
Please include largest powerdowns as well! I wanna see from whom I can buy some HIVE.
Good to see you here on hive and liking the news graphics. You forgot to mention your usual vital warning.
People should have learned by now you would have thought? :-)
Glad to see you here Mr. Penguin, report is already looking great.
When you include universal image after your all finished settling i to your bew nest, can you also include steem.dao facts? I notice they have 83.37M Hive which explains around half of all current liquid Hive
