Before 90' Poland was under strong Communist Party regime.
In 80' we had anti-communist movement/organisation called The Orange Alternative. Ideology of the movement was "Socialist Surrealism" :D
On the walls in the city that time appeared graffiti of Dwarfs. On the streets had place several happenings dwarfs-related. In memory of this events, in 2001 was placed first monument "Papa Dwarf".
Later in 2005 Tomasz Moczek placed first 5 dwarfs. Since then they just appear (circa 80 per year :D) They are protected by sorts of companies and institutions
