Well, yeah. The weekly Titans are awful post is finally here. It took me until THURSDAY to get this one out. Things are just not good. That Jags game was embarrassing and pathetic. I mean, there's truly no need for nuance or deeper thought.
Six points. The Titans scored six points on Sunday against the two win Jags. The Titans had three wins, but yeah.
Sickening and disturbing. Ruh-roh.

It's pure clean up, pure damage control time for the Titans right now. I have no idea who to salvage. Ridley is a respectable receiver. There's a few ok-good pieces on defense. This offense really is in shambles though.
The Titans need a QB. That's factual. Levis is not horrible, but I'm fairly certain he's not starting caliber material. He's got skills but, he just doesn't seem to get it at the NFL level. I'll gladly be proved wrong, but the odds feel slim that I am.
I was a smidge optimistic a few weeks ago, but I was hesitant, and now these last two pathetic games have proven that this team needs a QB to at least directly compete with Levis. I really don't want the team to draft Georgia's Carson Beck though. We don't need another ego that's too cool for school. Beck has stated how he doesn't like football. I'm sorry, but to be a winner at the NFL level, I'm pretty sure you should like football. I'm not a shrink but, I just don't personally prefer that attitude.
I'll probably do a deeper QB dive soon. The Titans need receivers and more offensive lineman too and cross their fingers and hope this coaching staff can ACTUALLY COACH. The team needs to hit on these draft picks big time. If Callahan is horrible next year, maybe cut him loose too.
I frankly don't know who to trust right now in this organization. I miss Vrabel bad. But that's in the past now. Meh. I just have to practice patience as a fan. Building a team isn't easy and I have to understand that I guess. Pretty sure the team has a fair amount of cap space, can't be horrible anyway. We don't have a massive QB contract on the team.
Apparently the Titans will be eighth in cap space and they also currently sit at sixth for the upcoming NFL draft. It's a bit odd to me the Titans are behind the Jags since the Titans just lost to the Jags? I dunno. But the Titans are top ten in both cap space and the draft, so yeah. That's something?
There's simply a million things to consider right now. Once this season ends and I can process the season a little, I may be more articulate. Or maybe I won't. I'm just a rambling fan, ok? LOL.
I do plan on looking at prospects and free agents and all that though. Eventually. But I'm just is fan depression mode for now HA. I'll still do preview and post game posts also of course.
