The months in between Titans games, was agonizing. Last season was undoubtedly rough but as I get older I realize I just want to watch this team play. Save for like the occasional god awful season, I normally just enjoy watching my team compete and hopefully succeed.

September baby, nothing like it. Sometimes life can be so stressful, I wonder how I make it to the next football season. I know that sounds lame and pretty depressing, but it's just true. You never know what life's going to throw at you and so every football season I can watch, I'm grateful for.

I could make this post way deeper than it has to be, but well I don't have time and I think it's pretty clear just glancing at my blog how much football and this team means to me.

There's kind of a decent chance this could be Ryan Tannehill's final season as a Titan. It's hard to say though. It feels very 50/50 but it really depends on how he performs in 2023 I guess. If it is, then this season is pretty, I guess special or memorable could be the word. This will only be Tannehill's fifth season in two-tone blue but he's easily the best QB the Titans have had since Steve McNair. He's not insanely behind McNair either. Definitely comfortably behind him, but not insanely.

I'm curious to see what a mildly aging Derrick Henry will look like. He's been a tank for so long, can he silence the doubters again? I feel like only Titans fans really understand how good Henry is. But if Henry can continue to be great, people will start to notice even more. I know people consider him great, but I do honestly notice a sort of casual, yeah whatever attitude toward Henry because he's not out here catching passes like Marshall Faulk. Henry might not be a dual threat, but he's a scary threat and can do things Faulk could never dream of doing on the football field.

I'm VERY curious to see how rookie RB Tyjae Spears plays also.

DeAndre Hopkins and Treylon Burks will hopefully begin their reign of terror!!!

I ranked the Saints as my number 18 team and the Titans as my number 17 team in my power rankings!! This should be a good one!!

Derek Carr makes his Saints debut and will test this Titans secondary in a big way. Former superstar receiver Michael Thomas makes his return after several years of injury. But the Saints WON'T have Alvin Kamara, which is good.

Man I am nervous I can barely write this post. LET'S GO TITANS BABY!!!!
