Well, yeah as much as I was annoyed at the players' comments the other day, it's always gonna be Titans for life for me. Tonight, the Titans play in primetime against the Steelers.
It's a big game as every game is. But for the Titans and fans like me, it's been an emotional rollercoaster of a season. The team had underperformed for the first six weeks, and all of a sudden last week the team came to life, and hopefully even life for the next decade thanks to rookie quarterback WILL FREAKING LEVIS having an epic debut against the Falcons!!
I DID see this coming, but the Titans QB situation was odd and Levis hadn't played all that much in the preseason due to an injury. I had a feeling Levis had a lot of talent, and I chose him as the top QB prospect prior to the draft.
Now, as much as I am attempting to claim my football genius galaxy mind, Levis did only play one game, and I am of course a Titans fan, so I'm pretty excited. Levis still has practically everything to prove but a win tonight would only fuel the Levis hype train and I'm ready for it.

It feels like a whole new season for the Titans, but a loss tonight would definitely sting. 4-4, we are talking solid playoff chances. 3-5, maybe we are just a fun team, building toward 2024?
It's been a wild couple of weeks as a Titan fan.
They are facing the Steelers who, are always very game, physical and gritty. Ready to be a bully and break opponents.
Steelers' young quarterback Kenny Pickett has not lived up to expectations so far in 2023, but he hasn't been terrible. He enters tonight's game with some type of rib injury, and so hopefully for the Titans' sake, they can take advantage of that by getting some sacks.
From what I gather, the Steelers' offense has looked very bad. Statistically, they rank in the low 20's both rushing and passing.
Defensively, the Steelers are once again scary. They actually don't have stellar defensive stats, but they have game wreckers like T.J. Watt always lurking.
Also, the Steelers do have a winning record, despite not appearing too dominant overall. They are getting the job done, unlike the Titans thus far.
With all of the chaos that has been the Titans' season, they can somehow reach .500 entering a mini bye week. It will be a big challenge, no doubt about it.
I'm ready to watch it all go down!! First NFL game played in November in 2023. Gonna be a fairly chilly night in Pittsburgh. Should be in the very low 40's during the second half. The climate is not radically different in Nashville at least.
LET'S GOOOO
