Welp, Sunday was more of the same. The Titans at least managed to keep the score a bit more reasonable and overall were more competitive but in the end the Titans just stink. Swept by the Jags AND Colts. Yuck. QB Mason Rudolph is a competent enough game manager but, that's about it.
The season at this point just feels like a sad act or something. These final games are simply glorified pre-season games. Tank season has BEEN here. With that loss to the Jags, the Titans are in position to have the second overall pick in the draft which is honestly pretty exciting. The Patriots are slotted to have the number one pick. It's likely the Patriots are sticking with Drake Maye at quarterback and so if the Titans want to, they may very well have their choice of quarterback this spring. I'm very curious what they will choose to do exactly. Shedeur time?
Apparently, head coach Brian Callahan's job is still intact despite this joke of a season. It's only his first year and, the Titans did not have very high expectations anyway. It will be interesting to see how he does as a coach with a year under his belt.
The Titans are just in no-man's land. Only one more game of this and the Titans can move on to 2025. I am going to be hanging on to every piece of Titans info this offseason though, that is for sure.
