Titans lost once again Sunday. The Titans have yet to win a game with Will Levis starting and finishing a game this season. Meh. Levis does not always look horrible but he does look far from a franchise quarterback which is unfortunate. Will displayed some good mobility and he managed the game well at times in LA on Sunday, so there's some pluses. He also didn't turn the ball over. I guess as a whole I am slightly more optimistic about Levis but just by a hair. Also, considering how low I have been on Levis he still has a fairly sizeable mountain to climb for me to start believing he's a franchise guy. I wouldn't be surprised if the team keeps him again next year just to keep building the team because the Titans don't have a giant QB contract at the moment, then try to draft their guy in 2026. 2025 would also serve as a tiny hail Mary chance Levis actually develops.
I feel bad for Mason Rudolph because I bet he could maybe be decent if a franchise had the patience and ability to build a stacked roster around him. But even I admit that is all around a risky move.
Special teams continues to stink, the offense continues to be poor, and the defense continues to be average to maybe slightly above average. The team in general is simply sub-par. Just bad.
Calvin Ridley actually had a good game catching two touchdowns, which is, something. His play has been improved in recent weeks.
The Titans started the game out strong but from then on showed little signs of life and kind of got beat up old school. The Chargers were efficient, ran plenty, played great defense and controlled the clock. Pretty boring game. The Titans scored a touchdown late in the game to make the game look a little prettier on the scoreboard.
I'm just praying for a win each week. It is unfortunately plausible the Titans could stink until I'm in my forties LOL. That would be wild. But all I can say is, the day this team is good again, that is going to feel SWEET. No matter how long it takes I'll be hooting and hollering on Hive.
