As I predicted, last week's Bengals game was a critical hit on Will Levis's NFL career to be a franchise quarterback. Things were not lookimg good going in that game but now it is official. Levis has been benched for the season and Mason Rudolph is the starter the rest of the season. Kinda wish the Titans made this decision weeks ago. But now I suppose there will be less people begging to see Levis get a chance. Maybe in the long term is was good to know once and for all Levis is not the future. It's just been a weird season.

But yeah, there's been a lot of speculation of why bother starting Rudolph. Why not let Levis get some more experience and maybe just get a higher draft pick. Well, I'll say hopefully winning is just nice. Week after week of getting embarrassed just stinks. Rudolph is no Hall of Famer but he'll give the Titans a chance. Also, a win over the still playoff hopeful Colts would be pretty awesome. IN Indianapolis too.

Maybe Rudolph can be a 'bridge' quarterback as well next year if the Titans wanted. It'd give Rudolph a fairer chance after this year he never really got a legit chance. I know Rudolph is considered a forever backup, but I really wouldn't be mad at throwing Rudolph an opportunity for a season considering the QB market is going to be kind of bad this off-season. Rudolph had moments in Pittsburgh. An extra year showing competent play behind Levis, and then one last shot to start in 2025 considering the circumstances, have Rudolph be a starter, why not. DRAFT JEANTY and call it a day. Build the roster.

But yeah, not much else new to report on. Callahan also wants to show he CAN coach. The Titans seem fairly directionless, but there will be decisions made and answers had soon enough. These three games are oddly important in an abstract way.

When things seem cloudy, just simply try to WIN baby. BEAT THE COLTS. That would be satisfying.
