Good afternoon friends of hive arte, having gone through frustration, anger and several days of introspection, I bring you the homework from the first drawing class. I am very happy to have resumed a meaningful path in the creation of my drawings and that is why I come to share them and tell you more or less how each one went.

Buenas tardes amigos de hive arte, habiendo atravesado frustración, enojos y varios días de introspección, les traigo la tarea de la primera clase de dibujo. Me pone muy feliz haber retomado un camino con sentido en la creación de mis dibujos y es por eso que los vengo a compartir y comentarles más o menos como fue cada uno.

Although the tasks were estimated for everyone equally, it was clear that we would do a countless variety of different things. In the grocery list I dared to add color although I also went through moments of doubt. Finally I decided to add me eating, or so I tried, being a caricature not at all realistic, I looked for the funny game of being in a fast food place thinking about healthy food.

Si bien eran tareas estimadas para todos por igual, estaba claro que haríamos una variedad incontable de cosas distintas. En la lista del súper me atreví a ponerle color aunque también pase por momentos de duda. Finalmente resolví agregarme a mi comiendo, o eso intente, siendo una caricatura nada realista, busque el juego chistoso de estar en un local de comidas rápidas pensando en comida saludable.

I really liked the dinosaurs part, the idea was to make them do everyday tasks, so it was fun to look for references and try to turn them into something worthy of showing. The musculature and marquitas were a great moment to invent, because I didn't learn too much about that yet, but again the fun came when I put color and they came to life.

La parte de los dinosaurios me gustó mucho, la consigna era que hagan tareas cotidianas, así que fue divertido buscar referencias y tratar de convertirlos en algo lo más digno de mostrar. La musculatura y marquitas fueron un gran momento de inventar, porque no aprendí demasiado de eso aún, pero nuevamente la diversión llegó cuando le puse color y tomaron vida.
Then a game of my own, to get from my sketches of fast faces something in the form of finished work. Giving another meaning to the lines that had been put there by chance and getting the shape to identify a complete face. I think I liked those results the most.

Luego un juego más propio, obtener de mis bocetos de rostros veloces algo con forma de trabajo terminado. Darle otro sentido a las líneas que habían sido puestas ahí por casualidad y lograr que la forma identifique un rostro completo. Creo que esos resultados son los que más me gustaron.

And I also enjoyed drawing memes, we talked about faces and how it is difficult to make them look like reality, that's why the drawing of the meme of the girl who sets the house on fire, or that's the idea of the picture, I loved it and it represented me. Just like the one I call “every day I wake up...” that meme is very used by me and I edit it every time with some funny phrase, the good thing is that although it does not look very realistic, and does not have much color, I think the idea was achieved, it is understood in the 3 classic pictures the copy in drawing of the movie.

Y también disfruté dibujando memes, hablamos sobre los rostros y cómo es difícil que se parezcan a la realidad, por eso el dibujo del meme de la niña que prende fuego la casa, o esa es la idea de la foto, me encantó y me representó. Igual que el que yo llamo “todos los días me despierto…” ese meme es muy usado por mi y lo edito cada vez con alguna frase divertida, lo bueno es que aunque no se ve muy realista, y no tiene mucho color, creo que la idea se logró, se entiende en los 3 cuadros clásicos la copia en dibujo de la película.
On the other hand, with the sheet of the tigers I had some 'luck' I drew Aisaka Taiga as the character I like, it could have been anyone but her and when they show as a little tiger, I love it. And I took the opportunity to draw on the same sheet something about a friend, in this case, my best friend who we call 'the tiger' for more than 20 years. This was a challenge, I used a tiger image as a reference and it is something that in years of friendship I had tried to do many times without success. Although I was not thrilled with the result either, it was a breakthrough, and I hope that with time and practice, I will be able to do better.

Por otro lado, con la hoja de los tigres tuve algo de 'suerte' dibujé a aisaka taiga como el personaje que me gusta,podría haber sido cualquiera pero ella y cuando muestran como tigrecito, me encanta. Y aproveche para dibujar en la misma hoja algo referente a un amigo, en este caso, mi mejor amigo a quien llamamos 'el tigre' desde hace más de 20 años. Esto sí fue un desafío, usé una imagen de tigre como referencia y es algo que en años de amistad había intentado hacer muchas veces sin éxito. Aunque tampoco me fascinó el resultado, fue un avance, y espero que con tiempo y práctica, poder lograrlo mejor.
The last exercise of the task was to draw a corner of my house that I like, I chose the kitchen, a corner where the window illuminates very nice and the pots where we keep some utensils that do not fit in the drawer make great shadows. I also added the little crochet curtain that my mother made and although this drawing was left in pencil without inking or color, I loved it.

El último ejercicio de la tarea era dibujar un rincón de mi casa que me guste, elegí la cocina, una esquina donde la ventana ilumina muy bonito y las macetas donde guardamos algunos utensilios que no caben en el cajón hacen sombras geniales. Además añadí la pequeña cortina de crochet que hizo mi madre y aunque este dibujo quedó en lápiz sin entintar ni color, me encantó.
I talked during the class about how I don't like hyperrealism and even though it's not what I do, when I copy something from reality I feel that way, and I don't like it, so next week I will explore my own ideas and my own shapes that resemble reality. The teacher said to work on verisimilitude, which is to keep things coherent so that they seem real, without being real. She gave an example that I loved, and it is the following ' if we draw a perfect body, with lights and shadows, but when we get to the face we make an emoji, we would not believe that it is a real person' those words made a lot of sense and that is where I am heading in the path I am starting with my art.

Hablé durante la clase sobre lo poco que me gusta el hiperrealismo y aunque no es lo que hago, cuando copio algo de la realidad me siento así, y no me agrada, por eso la siguiente semana exploraré ideas propias y formas propias que asemejen la realidad. La profe dijo que trabajemos en la verosimilitud, que es mantener cosas con coherencia para que parezcan reales, sin serlo. Dio un ejemplo que me encantó, y es el siguiente ' si dibujamos un cuerpo perfecto, con luces y sombras, pero al llegar al rostro hacemos un emoji, no nos creeríamos que se trata de una persona real' esas palabras tuvieron mucho sentido y hacia allí me dirijo en el camino que comienzo con mi arte.
