Coloreando girasoles

Hola amigos amantes del arte, hoy les comparto estas fotos de mi último dibujo coloreado, una página repleta de girasoles.

Sucede que en estos días he tenido muchas ganas de colorear girasoles, pues en redes sociales me aparecen imagenes, y tambien mi mamá me envio una foto de unos hermosos girasoles que están creciendo allá en mi casa de Venezuela, con eso en mente, fui en busqueda de algun dibujo en mis libros de colorear que tuviera girasoles y encontre esta pagina hermosa con girasoles en primera plana, así que me puse a colorear.

Como siempre digo, a pesar de que me gusta buscar referencias, no me gusta compararme con otros artistas que seguramente lo harán mejor que yo, pero siento que he mejorado mucho en la forma en que coloreo por que he seguido algunos tips para sentirme más cómoda coloreando. por ejemplo en esta pagina me mantuve dentro de una paleta de colores sencilla, amarillo, naranja y marron, con algunas tonalidades para variar las luces y sombras.

Por otra parte, también probé usar colores de cera, naranja y marrón para sombrear por encima de lo que ya coloree con los marcadores, combinando dos materiales que pudieran parecer opuestos, pero usándolos correctamente funcionan, y realmente me gusto el resultado.

Otro detalle que me gusto de este dibujo, y del libro que elegi en particular, es que me deja agregarle un toque personal al dibujo, como pueden ver en la imagen, dice que haga bolitas o cuadraditos dentro del centro de cada flor para completar el diseño, yo preferi hacer puntos de color marron y naranja y asi llenar ese espacio característico de los girasoles. Creo que fue una de las partes que más me gustó hacer en el dibujo.

Coloring sunflowers

Hello friends lovers of art, today I share these photos of my last colored drawing, a page full of sunflowers.

It happens that these days I have really wanted to color sunflowers, because in social networks images appear to me, and also my mom sent me a photo of some beautiful sunflowers that are growing there in my house in Venezuela, with that in mind, I went in search of some drawing in my coloring books that had sunflowers and found this beautiful page with sunflowers in the foreground, so I started coloring.

As I always say, even though I like to look for references, I don't like to compare myself with other artists who will surely do it better than me, but I feel that I have improved a lot in the way I color because I have followed some tips to feel more comfortable coloring. For example, on this page I stayed within a simple color palette, yellow, orange and brown, with some shades to vary the lights and shadows.

On the other hand, I also tried using wax colors, orange and brown to shade over what I had already colored with the markers, combining two materials that might seem opposite, but using them correctly they work, and I really liked the result.

Another detail that I liked about this drawing, and the particular book I chose, is that it allows me to add a personal touch to the drawing, as you can see in the image, it says to make balls or squares inside the center of each flower to complete the design, I preferred to make brown and orange dots and so fill that characteristic space of the sunflowers. I think it was one of the parts I liked doing the most in the drawing.
