Greetings, today I'm sharing with you the process of this chibi I made of my character, Chiko, continuing with my chibi series.
Saludos, hoy les comparto el proceso de este chibi que hice de mi personaje, Chiko, continuando con mi serie de chibis.
It´s the first time I upload something about her here, she´s a gal that likes learning about new stuff and documenting things through offline multimedia. Also she´s the girl on my current profile picture holding a ban cardboard, ah.
Es la primera vez que subo algo sobre ella aquí, es una chica a la que le gusta aprender sobre nuevas cosas y documentar cosas a través de la multimedia fuera de linea. Tambien es la chica en mi foto de perfil actual sosteniendo una cartulina de ban, aj.
Process
While lining I wanted to vary the strokes´ size to provocate a light sentation of depth, which is something I don´t usually do, I´ll keep in mind doing that from now on.
Al delinear quise variar el tamaño de los trazos para provocar una ligera sensación de profundidad, lo cual es algo que no suelo hacer, tendré en cuenta el hacerlo de ahora en adelante.
Once I applied base colors I went to shade her skin and pantyhose.
Una vez que apliqué los colores base pasé a sombrear su piel y pantimedias.
Then I went ahead and finished the drawing by shading her clothing, hair, eyes and beanie.
Entonces procedí y terminé el dibujo sombreando su ropa, cabello, ojos y gorro.
Result
While adding more details and a basic backgroung I wanted to harmonize more the drawing with those through a low saturation purple on a layer "soft light" over the drawing, I thought it would end up on a more pleasing visual experience.
Al agregarle más detalles y un fondo básico quise armonizar más el dibujo con estos a través de un morado de baja saturación en una capa de "luz sueva" sobre el dibujo, pensé que terminaría en una experiencia visual más placentera.
Again, I made the drawing in IbisPaint X from my phone, it took about to ~5 hours, I used MediBang Paint Pro to edit the pictures for this post from my computer.
Una vez más, hice el dibujo el IbisPaint X desde mi telefono, tomo al rededor de ~5 horas, use MediBang Paint Pro para editar las imagenes para este post desde mi computadora.
