Good morning friends of the Hive art platform, greetings from your great friend the painter Ramaco, who brings you a new artistic publication that I hope you like.
Welcome to see my artistic occurrence, on the Hive digital platform.
@ramaco54
STEP BY STEP PROCESS.
Today we are going to show you an artistic publication, a restoration actually of a work of art from 1972, a totally deteriorated seascape, which was able to be recovered, from the treatment of the canvas to the actual pictorial work, done manually and that I hope you like it.
THE BEGINNING. Friends viewers, from this moment on you will be shown the details of the deterioration of the painting to be restored.
1.- Observe the deterioration of the entire pictorial work.
2.- Details of the painting cracked.
3.- Deteriorated spaces in the work.
4.- Details of the deteriorated oil,
in some parts of the work and the painting discolored.
The support.
Note the support material of the work is canvas or canvas, which luckily is still preserved.
Friends, from now on I will begin the process of rescuing this work in oil, but making a total change with acrylic pigments and resin, with my brushes and spatula.
- We started by sterilizing the work with a preparation of boiled water with garlic, bay leaves, vinegar and soda to kill mites that could completely damage the work, and let it dry in the sun.
- We re-enforced the canvas with a mixture of white acrylic and resin on the back of the work to protect the painting as well as the support of the work, as shown in the images, in order to begin the restoration.
- Before starting work on the painting, it must be sanded finely and gently to remove the raised parts of the paint, removing the cracks in the color.
- The acrylic coloring begins to be applied over the painting, but trying to follow the same line and color. It should be noted that since the painting was done in oil and is being restored in acrylic, my dear followers, it must be completely restored, using brushes and spatulas, in order to cover the imperfections caused by the cracks and renew the color.
- After restoring the entire painting, the frame or frame was re-selected and painted with a golden acrylic, so that it looks like new.
Here I show you the fully restored oil to acrylic painting, which was doubly protected with a layer of transparent varnish:
Friends, here I show you the restored work with the re-tensioned coloring that is titled:
The gladiators of : mar.
Friends, Hive viewers, art lovers, I got this work at a garage sale. When I saw it, my heart sank when I saw the deteriorated paintings. They were selling them off for $50. I immediately put them aside, got the money and bought them because I had sold those paintings when I was a student. Therefore, I told my wife that I have to restore them because if I let them be thrown away, I will cease to exist as an artist and creator...
Today I share the restoration process with my friends on the Hive platform, proudly saying that I saved the painting and now they are in my home...
WORKS OF ART ARE THE CONTINUITY OF THE EXISTENCE OF THE CREATIVITY OF THE HUMAN BEING, DO NOT DISDAIN THEM.
I hope you liked this post.
Thank you very much for your kind attention.
A hug, I love you all.
