I've mentioned once or twice recently that my camera has been gathering dust for months now. Instead of going outside on a daily basis and taking a bazillion photos (most of which never see the light of day...lol), I only take it out briefly here and there. I checked, and since November 2022 I have 60 pictures on my SD card - I used to do twice that each day! And they're nothing really exciting - they're of our dog and cats, random things outside the window ("hey, what kind of bird is that... oh, it's a squirrel"), the oil level in our home furnace (long story for another day) with a few birthday shots in for good measure (hubby and both our girls have had birthdays in the past five months).

... I thought it would be a good excuse to take some nice new photos of them for today. And here I am, at 9pm, realizing today is almost over!
To be fair, I've been out of the house for a fair part of the day doing errands, and the rest of the day has been mostly getting ready for our small family Easter celebration tomorrow - where's my time turner when I need it?
As luck would have it though, I found over a dozen shots of our cats Pumpkin and Freddie taken in February, so I picked out the best of the lot (eight total), did a quick cleanup job of them on LunaPic (one of these days I'm going to figure out how to use GIMP but for now, LunaPic works for me), and here they are!

To be fair "wheels-up" is The Husband's expression! But says it all. So glad Pumpkin has settled so well. I can't believe that it was four years ago the Freddie arrived! Back to the boys: funny, Gandalf and Rambo seem to be - your phrase - fast friends. And, we thought, relatively quickly given the latter's history. The princess is a lot less welcoming.
I may have to prepare a belated caturday post for next Saturday!
They look so cute. I love cats and you have two sweet kitties. It's so funny how they imitate each other. Thank you for sharing these two friends with us. My girlfriend's cat also sleeps with his feet up in the air. "Wheels up!"
LOL "wheels up!" I think it's probably because they see the humans sleeping on their backs. So that must be the way...right?
