Hola a todos, hace un tiempo me topé con un video de un creador de contenidos que hacía rato que no veía, puesto que se había tomado una pausa, pero justamente al ver lo que había subido a su canal, me topé con lo que a mi opinión es de los mejores videos, con un mensaje profundo y claro sobre lo que algunas personas pasan, no necesariamente en el área específica donde lo relata.
Y para comenzar, les hablaré un poco sobre Gaspi; es un creador de contenido argentino con varios años de trayectoria que se dio a conocer a través de la plataforma de YouTube ,caracterizándose por su humor bizarro, alocado e irreverente, y en su actual canal posee más de 2 millones de suscriptores.
One of the things that defined his style was making random videos on the street, interviewing people at unexpected moments and making humorous comments. Although not for everyone, he managed to catch the attention and get more than a few laughs from those of us who watched him for a long time or who only happened to come across fragments of videos on his other networks.
Una de las cosas que marcó su estilo era el hacer videos randoms en la calle entrevistando personas en momentos que no se esperan y comentarios de humor, lo cual, pese a no ser para todos, logró llamar la atención y sacar más de una risa a quienes lo miramos por mucho tiempo o quienes solo se llegan a topar con fragmentos de videos en sus demás redes.
Now, the video I'm here to talk about is titled "The Return of Gaspy." This video touches on how we sometimes get carried away by fame and how, behind all that, we are human beings who can be affected by what Gaspy shows: what it's like to be in a gray environment and decline, how each moment rises and falls, and how, despite that, only very few ever see what lies beneath what he falsely tries to convey, something that Gaspy himself expresses in the description of his video, briefly explaining a summary of the message he wants to convey.
Ahora bien, el video del que les vengo a hablar tiene por título "La vuelta de Gaspy". Este video toca el cómo a veces nos dejamos llevar por la fama y cómo, detrás de todo eso, somos humanos que podemos dejarnos afectar por lo que Gaspy muestra: cómo es estar en un entorno gris y decaer, cómo sube y baja cada momento y cómo, pese a eso, solo muy pocos llegan a ver lo que hay debajo de eso que falsamente se trata de transmitir, cosa que el mismo Gaspy expresa en la descripción de su mismo video, explicando brevemente un resumen del mensaje que quiere transmitir.
Something I liked about this video is that it portrays its message in a realistic and uncensored way, and despite current taboos, it manages to transcend that with each scene, which made me relate to it at many moments. We can see how he speaks to us and even reflects on how we sometimes unwittingly follow in others' footsteps,repeating the same patterns. This is how he begins by telling us about his grandmother and then drawing a parallel to the same scene, but experiencing it himself.
Algo que me gustó de este video es que muestra el mensaje de una manera realista y sin censura, y pese a los actuales tabúes, logra traspasar eso con cada escenario, cosa que me hizo sentir identificada en muchos momentos. Podemos ver cómo nos habla e incluso cómo hace una reflexión de cómo a veces sin darnos cuenta seguimos los pasos de otros repitiendo los mismos patrones, como lo es al iniciar que nos cuenta sobre su abuela y al final haciendo un paralelismo de la misma escena, pero viviéndola él mismo.
And even though the video has been published for two months, it continues to generate buzz and serves as a reference not only for the central topic it addresses, but, as I said before, more than one of us has come to identify with either the entire message or just fragments of it. As in my case, it struck a chord with me, as the emotion seen is one that many of us experience regardless of our current situation. That's why I invite you to watch this video with this message, which for many will be somewhat off-key and strong due to some of the images, but beyond that, its purpose is to make the viewer reflect.
Y pese a que el video tiene ya dos meses desde su publicación, sigue dando de qué hablar y sigue siendo referente no solo para el tópico central que quiere tocar, sino que, como dije anteriormente, más de uno nos llegamos a sentir identificados ya sea con todo el mensaje o con solo fragmentos y, como en mi caso, me llegó a tocar la fibra sensible, ya que esa emoción que se ve es la que muchos pasamos independientemente de la situación que tengamos. Por eso los invito a ver este video con este mensaje que para muchos será algo fuera de tono y fuerte debido a algunas imágenes, pero que fuera de eso su propósito es hacer reflexionar a quien lo ve.

I will watch the video as soon as I can, but with what I read in your post I have an idea of what it could be about and I imagine what is going to happen in that video regarding fame and society, fame and social networks consume people and sometimes they get lost, I think the video could be about something like that, that is my prediction until I can see it haha
