De alguna manera nuestros constantes viajes en 2024 inspiraron a mi esposa y a mí a conocer y a querer aventuras, sacando el mejor provecho de ello. Creo que para nadie es un secreto que nuestros teléfonos escuchan nuestras conversaciones y de una u otra manera llegamos hasta un canal de YouTube donde una pareja de enamorados se han dedicado a viajar por el mundo y lo hacen de la manera más económica posible. No me convenció este canal al inicio, y es que la pareja no viaja para enseñar a televidente, de hecho son ellos los que van aprendiendo de cada ciudad en el camino, y así vamos conociendo quienes los seguimos.
Somehow our constant travels in 2024 inspired my wife and I to know and want adventures, making the best of it. I think it's no secret that our phones listen to our conversations and one way or another we came across a YouTube channel where a couple in love have dedicated themselves to traveling the world and doing it in the most economical way possible. I was not convinced by this channel at the beginning, and the fact is that the couple does not travel to teach the viewer, in fact they are the ones who learn about each city along the way, and so we get to know those of us who follow them.

La primera vez que Youtube nos sugirió uno de sus video fue en Diciembre, y es que estuvieron grabando en las calles de Caracas y nos pareció muy curioso. No sé tanto de la vida personal de ellos, solo sé que Joris es francés y Angie es mexicana. Verlos caminar en el centro de Caracas tan despreocupado nos preocupó mucho jajaja, y eso que más adelante subieron un video yendo al temible barrio Petare, pero al igual que mi esposa y yo, lo que hicieron fue comprobar que no es un barrio tan peligroso como lo llaman. Indagando en su canal veo que ya han visitado varios países, pero lo que están transmitiendo justo ahora es su aventura en Venezuela.
The first time Youtube suggested us one of their videos was in December, they were filming in the streets of Caracas and we found it very curious. I don't know so much about their personal life, I only know that Joris is French and Angie is Mexican. Seeing them walking in downtown Caracas so carefree worried us a lot hahaha, and that later they uploaded a video going to the dreaded Petare neighborhood, but just like my wife and I, what they did was to check that it is not such a dangerous neighborhood as they call it. Digging into their channel I see that they have already visited several countries, but what they are broadcasting right now is their adventure in Venezuela.

Creo que lo que más nos capturó de estos personajes es su ingenuidad en las calles, de hecho, conociendo nuestro país y su gente nos sorprendió mucho que les iba bastante bien en las calles de Caracas, pero a medida que publican episodios de su experiencia en Venezuela se van alejando más de la capital y pueden notar lo que sabemos todos los venezolanos del interior, que fuera de Caracas es una supervivencia. De hecho mientras más se adentran en Venezuela parece que quieren abusar más de ellos porque evidentemente son extranjeros. Me suscribí al canal cuando visitaron las costas de mi estado natal, el Estado Aragua, y es que provoca apoyar su contenido y espero sigan creciendo. Los venezolanos también les han dejado mucha sugerencias en la caja de comentarios.
I think what captured us most about these characters is their naivety in the streets, in fact, knowing our country and its people we were very surprised that they were doing quite well in the streets of Caracas, but as they publish episodes of their experience in Venezuela they get further away from the capital and can notice what all of us Venezuelans from the interior know, that outside of Caracas it is survival. In fact the further they go into Venezuela they seem to want to abuse them more because they are obviously foreigners. I subscribed to the channel when they visited the shores of my home state, Aragua State, and it is that it provokes me to support their content and I hope they continue to grow. Venezuelans have also left many suggestions in the comments box.

En el video que les he dejado arriba han visitado el Parque Nacional Morrocoy y el pueblo de Tucacas, un hermoso paraíso que yo mismo conocí hace unos meses, pero vaya que se dieron cuenta que el gasto es grande, y respecto a lo que vi en el video, creo que se aprovecharon un poco de ellos... Hace unas horas estrenaron su último video, y es que nos les fue nada bien en Barquisimeto, tuvieron una experiencia que ha hecho que ya quieran terminar su aventura por Venezuela. Ellos pretendían ir al Estado Barinas a conocer los llanos, pero luego de la mala experiencia que realmente nos dio pena ajena aquí en casa, han decidido ir a Mérida y parece que de esa manera terminarán su recorrido en mi país.
In the video I have left above they have visited the Morrocoy National Park and the town of Tucacas, a beautiful paradise that I myself knew a few months ago, but wow they realized that the expense is great, and from what I saw in the video, I think they took a little advantage of them... Para que vean exactamente lo que les pasó en Barquisimeto tienen que ir hasta el minuto 28:00. Han demostrado que están enamorados de los paisajes y en cierta forma de nuestra gente, y sorprendentemente no han sido atacados por la delincuencia venezolana, aunque llevas herramientas de trabajo bastante atractiva para ladrones como teléfonos, cámaras y un dron, pero lamentablemente la misma policía de mi país fue la que les dio la mala sorpresa, y prácticamente los robaron, como hacen con nosotros. Por otra parte poder conseguir dólares en efectivo también está arruinando su paso por Venezuela, parece que mientras más tiempo pasa alguien aquí más comienzan a sufrir los problemas diarios de los venezolanos. Solo espero que les termine de ir bien, y que en su siguiente video nos den algunos tips de como viajar económico a Mérida; nunca he ido para allá y creo que puede ser el siguiente destino para mi esposa y para mí...
To see exactly what happened to them in Barquisimeto you have to go to minute 28:00. They have shown that they are in love with the landscapes and in a way with our people, and surprisingly they have not been attacked by Venezuelan crime, although you carry working tools quite attractive to thieves as phones, cameras and a drone, but unfortunately the same police of my country was the one that gave them the bad surprise, and practically robbed them, as they do with us. On the other hand being able to get dollars in cash is also ruining their passage through Venezuela, it seems that the more time someone spends here the more they begin to suffer the daily problems of Venezuelans. I just hope you end up doing well, and that in your next video you give us some tips on how to travel cheaply to Merida; I have never been there and I think it may be the next destination for my wife and me...

Haha, tourists walk there without worrying because they do not know, therefore, they are not influenced by the notion of danger. I do the same thing when I travel, although in my case it is different because my alert sense is always activated and it is difficult for me to get into unknown places. I was born and live in one of the most dangerous areas of Buenos Aires, we are practically born with knives here hahaha I don't know if in my case I would be so relaxed. Admirable what this couple does. Fear is limiting and with fear they would not have known anything. Greetings!
Oye que lastima que a ellos les ha ido mal lejos de Caracas, porque a los de Caminando el mundo y Pancha la vida que también nos visitaron les fue de maravilla en el interior del país, gracias a Dios, es que como digo, cada país sin excepción tiene sus cosas positivas y negativas, por eso me gusta cuando los creadores de contenido que se dedican a esto cuentan ambos puntos desde su punto de visto y no dejándose llevar por experiencias ajenas, porque muchas veces solo resaltan lo negativo, en cuanto a la inseguridad, al menos en Valencia (donde vivo) eso ha cambiado abismalmente, gracias a Dios he visto personas caminando con el teléfono en la mano por las calles, cuando antes eso era imposible, pero solo puedo hablar por valencia, no sé como será en el resto del pais en cuanto a eso, pero en realidad, tal como digo, puntos positivos y negativos hay en todos los paises del mundo, y sobre todo en Francia y México
