Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the peoples of HIVE, but especially my brothers and sisters at SGS who have been getting right into the spirit of the festive season once again. For me personally it's been a hectic time of year and I'm utterly exhausted, but I've enjoyed seeing the SGS Secret Santa playing out again this year with lots of cool (and funny) gifts doing the rounds. Massive kudos to Old Mate @welshstacker for putting it together once again. He is a Legend Among Legends here at SGS in my book.

Sometimes I like to look back on the year gone by and summarize a bit, but I am struggling for time at the moment so it'll be extra short. It was a good year for SGS. We are a great community on HIVE that is still going strong after all these years. With real world meetups, fundraisers for our community project on Hive and lots of generous gift giving, it really is the place to be if you're into precious metals and like to banter with like minded, good spirited people.
Similarly I also like to look forward to the year ahead and make some plans or set some goals or something. To be brutally honest, I haven't got to it yet as I'm just living in the moment right now and trying to get the most out of it. That unfortunately means a bit less time on HIVE right now and more time going to the beach or doing stuff with the kids, but I hope to have more time for HIVE and SGS again soon. School Holidays here last for another 4 weeks or so and it's a fantastic time of year to be in Australia, so I'll be around and about but not particularly active.
Regardless, I wanted to send best wishes to everyone. I am optimistic that 2025 will be a great year for us all, so CHEERS!
Yes, I'm also now enjoying more recovered time being a full time parent again, I owe it to them even if they are young adults now.
