I came across these interesting rounds when they popped up for sale in the Inflation Mitigation Lounge. They were fairly cheap at just $2.39 over spot, when I purchased them a couple of years ago.
Obverse (Source)
The obverse features Ma’at, the Egyptian goddess of Justice. She is shown here squatted down with her arms stretched to the sky. Above her is written ‘RIGHTEOUSNESS TRUTH ORDER JUSTICE BALANCE HARMONY MORTALITY”. These are the values Ma’at personifies. At the bottom of the round is ‘2021’. (Source)
I think it's a very well-done design, and is proof-like in its design.
Reverse(Source)
The reverse is much simpler, displaying the Kinesis Mint logo, weight, and purity. Again, the mirror finish on this side is proof-like and looks great.
Specifications
Mint: Kinesis Mint
Weight: 1 Troy Ounce
Purity: .9999 Fine
Diameter: 39 mm
It's atypical to find a .9999 fine round at a reasonable premium, much less with an attractive design. Obviously, you still may run into milk spotting issues from time to time, as is shown in the photo I took, but that doesn't diminish the value of the metal content. If you find one of these, I highly recommend grabbing it!
Each month, I give away a $1 Goldback or 4 HBD. The winner gets to choose.
Note: Some countries may have prohibitively expensive shipping or delivery, which may not be feasible. I reserve the right to award the winner 4 HBD instead of a Goldback at my discretion.

Never heard of thr goldback until now. Might come in handy as a form of barter when the SHTF. I looked into stacking a year or so ago, and realized there were two types: Those looking for collectors-quality coins to hold and sell (such as proofs), and those holding lesser-quality (such as bars, for instance) to use as barter in a global emergency. Which one are you?
While Goldbacks are fun to collect, I think smaller denomination silver coins in your country's official currency are best since they're easily recognizable.
I do a little bit of it all. I have collector pieces that appreciate in value as an investment for the future. I have low-premium rounds, coins, and bars if I need to sell. The goal is to not have to sell and leave it to my boys as part of their inheritance.
I can still remember the first coin I bought as a kid. It was a Morgan silver dollar from 1890-something, I think. I sold it two years later to make my first bank deposit (it had increased in value since then). I like that you're saving for your kids, and a balanced approach might also allow me to toss some into a bug out bag just in case. No power, means no ATM to get cash from, so its good to be prepared.
There you go. Don't forget gold, too. While I stack silver, I doubt I'll take it with me in a bugout situation. For that, I have a bug out case full of gold.
Cool design
