Local Coin Shop Find 7-29-2022

I learned from a Stacker, on Hive, that a good way to acquire, a Troy Ounce, of Silver, is to pick up $1.40, face value, US Constitutional Silver Money. Technically, it's, about $1.38 mint coins. It's also a good way to have fractional Silver, to make change. Back, in the early 1960s, in the USA, one could purchase a loaf of bread, for a Dime. A Silver Dime. I was there. Today, the Silver Dimes, cost $1.90(USD), each, at the Local Coin Shop.

This is not intended to be any kind of financial advice. This is all about a fun hobby, of collecting, stacking & sharing Silver Coins, Treasures, and such.
Thanks again for checking it out, on #silvergoldstackers, where Stackers show & share their treasures, thought & ideas.

Just been to my LCS yesterday and cleaned out my purse of fiat.
The Dealer told me he had been cleaned out of dimes and had only a few quarters and the more expensive silver dollars left of junk silver.
Writing the Post atm. Stay tuned.

Silver dimes are good to collect. They come in different ages and conditions, great to stacked !

There is nothing wrong with having these Mercury dimes in everyone's stack.

I have heard of roll hunting for silver but I don't know where you would start. Do you go to the bank and ask for certain rolls or do you just ask for a bunch of mixed rolls and take your chances?

No, I check out the Local Coin Shops. They usually buy and sell, at ten percent commission, on either end.

Those are my favorites, @cve3!

Mercs my favorites

I wish I was around your local shop, I have not seen much in mines

Screw it! I gotta get me more Mercury Dimes 🙌

These are classic coin looking classic though I must confess
