In 2014 I was heavily buying bullion gold and silver but if I really liked a high premium coin I did bought some too.
The 5 proof Britannias I bought in 2014 were a big hit. After it sold out at the UK mint the price on Ebay went up above 1000 USD and some were even sold for this price.
So where are we now with regard to the price ?
Hm not too bad but not close to what it once was of course. In 2019 I was on a coin show and Catawiki wanted to sell them for an expected selling price of 50 EUR which I rejected of course. They put that as a reserve for every proof silver coin in a box.
As always I will just hang on to them. I sold one to a Singaporese friend but got 4 still.

Beautiful design. I could read allot of different moods from Britannia's relaxed but guarded stance yet difficult to pin down what she is contemplating. I wonder what the Artist's thoughts were on this? Looking it up.

Thanks. I have not done much else (online) than studying spanish and playig Nextcolony. The more Spanish I learn the better I understand Portuguese as well . I was planning a 3 month tour in Enero- Marzo 2021 in South AMerica but not sure if we can do it that period. Hasta luego !
Spanish and Portuguese are very similar languages. The funny thing is that Spanish speaking natives have a hard time listening to Portuguese and Portuguese speaking natives have almost no problems understanding Spanish...

!tipYOu know, I check our community tag every day. For some reason missed this article, @goldrooster! I like the different depictions of Britannia. I am not a coin collector, but I truly appreciate all the coin designs around her. I have a few of her, but I don't stack them. They are pricey here in the US.
