New panda's 2024 to my stack.

Yesterday in @silvergoldstackers discord I saw a friend posting some panda's shinies.
Some spoke about faked ones.

Those you see here were bought at an official precious metal trader named "comptoirdelor" also known in Dutch as "goudwisselkantoor". I already worked with them in the past. Including with panda coins, but at that time i had bought 5 coins of 1kg each.
When I needed the cash to buy a plot of land, I could sell them, without any problem and with a nice profit.

Want to visit the partner's site ? https://www.comptoirdelor.be/
You can have it in French, German and Dutch. For English, you will have to use online translations.

This time, these panda's are 30gr of weight, were minted in 2024 and their price was 45.90€ each (December 2024).
They were delivered in their plastic caps.

I must admit I do not know how to test such coins without damaging them. I will simply trust my partner in this business. The day I will sell them back, he better has to buy them at a correct price, lol.

I understand people want to have a better life, I am one of them, what I do not understand is when they screw up other people to achieve their goal. There are many ways to succeed, without putting others down.

The question ...
How do you test silver coins ? Do you perform the test yourself, or do you prefer to go to a specialist?
Any ways to test them without damaging them?

Enjouy your day, and happy stacking !

If you deal with reputable people usually you won't have trouble. You always want to verify they are the correct weight, and use a magnifier to ensure nothing looks wrong. Fakes often have errors and can be a little sloppy. If you really want to be sure you can buy a gadget that tells you what metal is present and doesn't damage the coin. There are lots of ways, great investment you are picking up!

Ha, cool for the detector that doesn't damage... Will try to find one and check their price :)

Thanks for info and advices.
