The $10 Banknote is a palindrome serial (RADAR) number, same number forwards and backwards, a different yet popular note collectors theme. I used to hang/troll a Canadian banknote collectors club.
With Canadian notes the valuable low serial numbers are those under 0001000.

Ah, so that's why it's value is so high. I didn't catch that. Anyone who deals with a lot of cash bills is playing the lottery, if they're paying attention. I bet all sorts of interesting number combinations show up, just have to pay close attention. Hidden treasures!
Correct, Serial number collecting is a bigger following that I originally thought.
Solid numbers like 88888888 are hugely sought after by Asian collectors in particular. Ladders like 12345678 and 87654321 are also collectable. There are a variety of number permutations as well. But condition is still the top criteria.
Really tough would be matching serial numbers of different denominations.
I should pay close attention to the numbers! Never know what we might find.
Here's a tough one most people miss.
Mismatched serial numbers, the left serial number that doesn't match the right number on the same banknote. Error category, that's another animal.
Good Luck @ironshield
