It's getting back to my creative roots in writing historical fiction. Before Hive, I relished those old pulpy paperback novels that I used to find at the local used bookstore bargain bins. Alas, it's no longer in business, another victim to Covid shutdowns.

Used to enjoy reading historical fiction as well, takes one on an adventure learning variety of interesting things. Mixed in the non-fiction it made for a wonderful reading experience. Too many small businesses have been lost due to circumstances out of their control.

It leaves me with two sources of novels; first are the selections at the book stand of my grocery store, and Two, those audio book emails that I still keep getting. The temptation is now on since I inherited my late Roommate's Apple tablet. 😎

Most my books are birds, animals of our country along with travel, history, hang onto original paper maps of mountains and roads. Even though the world is technical I prefer to rely seeing a map over using GPS.
