When I read your comment about the Jersey Devil, I remembered his story, but I also remembered a celebration that we have in Venezuela and it is known as the Devils of Yare, unlike the story of the Devil of Jersey, where he terrorized the villagers, the devils of Yare is a religious celebration where the Afrikaans, Spanish and Venezuelan indigenous culture is combined, before many years ago it was a religious celebration where it focused on the struggle of evil against good, but now for 24 years the communist government has turned it into an unbridled party, you know things about communism, the old adajio give bread and circuses to the people, I was able to enjoy this religious celebration more than 30 years ago, when it was celebrated as it should be.

It's a shame that the government in Venezuela has become what it is. When I visited Caracas in the mid 1990's it was such a beautiful city and people were making good incomes. After Chavez came to power it became unsafe for Americans to travel there so I never had a chance to go back.
I'm glad you got to enjoy that cool celebration the way it was meant to be before communism! That's an awesome picture, and a great celebration from the looks of it!

The worst thing is that these criminals of the Venezuelan government kidnapped several American citizens to pressure the Biden administration to exchange American citizens for criminals and drug traffickers who were detained there in your country.
But that is another story, we still have hope that what happened in Panama when the United States helped to free Panama from that dictator and drug trafficker Noriega, here the military high command and the president I think he gets life imprisonment, but that is another story.
