My ratio for silver used to be about 60/40 weight/government bullion. Since the premiums got nuts I haven’t bought any government bullion.

I planned to have a more sizable portion of ASEs since my early stacking days. Why not? The US is Canada's biggest trading partner and I am only 60kms from the border (But no passport) The ASEs at my LCS were consistently from $1.50 up to $4 above the premiums I pay for Maple Leafs is what skewed my goal to being overweight in Leafs. Even at that Premium ASEs are still flying off the shelf in Vancouver stores.
