The Royal Australian Mint in Canberra is highly regarded for its popular collections of lunar-themed coins, domed proof coins, and special edition bullion coins in both silver and gold.

Established in 1965, the Mint was the first in the country not to be a branch of The Royal Mint. Before its inception, Australia's coins were minted at various branches of The Royal Mint, including the Sydney Mint, Melbourne Mint, and The Perth Mint.

2025 Australia 1 oz Silver Lunar Year of the Snake BU

These coins cover a wide range of themes, including historical events, astronomy, animals, and the Chinese zodiac. Besides these collectible items, the Royal Australian Mint is responsible for producing Australia's circulating coins.

Coin Highlights:

  On the reverse side of the 2025 1 oz Royal Australian Mint Silver Year of the Snake Coin, you'll spot a unique design for the Year of the Snake. Tall bamboo shoots rise in the background, while a snake is artistically depicted coiling around several of these shoots.   On the obverse of the 2025 Royal Australian Mint Silver Year of the Snake Coin, you'll see Charles III in a left-facing profile without a crown. Around him, there's a ring showcasing all 12 Zodiac animals. Each year, this ring rotates to highlight the animal for that year at the top.   Snake Weakness

  Snakes can often seem emotionally distant, which may come across as coldness or selfishness. People tend to distrust them because they appear calculating and self-centered, leading Snakes to reciprocate that distrust. In romantic relationships, Snakes might find it difficult to be open and vulnerable, instead relying on their usual detachment.
