I will never tire of stacking U.S. Constitutional coins!
π I just love U.S. Constitutional Silver! π
There are frequent opportunities to purchase US Constitutional Silver, which is 90% silver, at close to spot as possible.
It is a popular form of silver with stackers because it usually sells for low premiums over melt value than any form of physical silver. Melt Value is the value of the actual gold or silver in the coin.
There is no such thing as one single way to stack precious metals. The rule of thumb is: buy only what you like!
Also, it is the person's financial ability and goals that should determine how one accumulates his/her stack.
U.S. Constitutional Silver are U.S. coins minted before 1965 in the form of dimes, quarters, halves, and dollars. Following the Constitutional mandate, these coins were minted containing 90% silver. The mandate ended in 1965.

Yes, but not is a regular market. You see that cost more that their face value. You still see them out in the open, but seldom. That is why there is this thing they call "coin roll hunting".

I love old coins like those, they have so much character. You hold them in your hand and just think about the travels those coins have had to make them wear like that. They have been in so many hands, purses, wallets, pockets, cash drawers and so much more it's kinda mind blowing.

These coins are vintage and so far you have collected many of them. I am sure each coin is holding a significant historical story. I was wondering to ask you, is there anything extra you do to preserve these coins for the long term?
Yes, these coins are all vintage.
The new coins are placed in capsules, except for the American Eagles, which are kept straight in tubes (green top).
Some of the capsules are placed in tubes (red top), but mostly the capsules with coins are in containers.
Coins in slabs are in a special case (black with the latch)
