Yeah, I get raw coins from reputable dealers too... and when a raw coin is pricey (to me over 30 an ounce if silver is too expensive, no matter what) I have to ask. nd I know what you mean about slabbed coins. My collection fo Peace dollars are graded coins precisely because I wanted to be sure that they are genuine US coins. There was a time the secondary market was proliferated by fakes from China!
