It's hard to find any Mexican silver cheap anymore, it used to be pretty much sold at spot.
At our local Coin shop, silver used to be $.25 over a spot. Now, if you can find something five to $10 over spot you found a bargainπ
The good old days when silver was cheap... For awhile I had a place I could buy silver and gold at spot, he bought at fifteen percent under and sold at spot. What didn't sell got sipped off the be melted down. He retired though, it was a nice while it lasted!
I guess it's back to the thrift store looking for bargains...Lol
Our neighbor just found a sterling candy dish at our local Goodwill, probably 2 to 3 ounces...she paid $1.95
Not sure how that slipped through the cracks Lol!!π
