Your 1841 Dukat coin is awesome! I have never seen a coin with a conversion rate printed on it, so that alone makes this a fabulous piece! Thanks for explaining, as I would not have understood what that meant, just by looking at the lettering. It is a beautiful coin with great details and in wonderful condition for its age! Congrats, and thank you for sharing this lovely item with us! 😊

I also enjoyed your post because some of my ancestors lived close to your area a few centuries ago. Sometime in the 1600s, my great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather brought one branch of my family tree to North America. They came from the area marked with the red dot on this map:

That's probably in the area marked Hohenzollern rather than Württemberg, but they were neighbors! 🙂
