Finally back online..
It's been like two weeks since my last post and it wasn't without reason. First my daughter was a bit feverish when she had a long weekend off from school. Thankfully it remained at a runny nose and fever for two days so she mostly spent time on the couch under a blanket, watching tv and when it was time to go back to school she was all recovered.
I was a bit worried that I'd be next but even more so that her father was next in line, which is worse financially, lol. So if any of us would caught it, I prefer me being the one because of that. When thinking that, I had no clue what I was signing myself up for though, gosh, it's been a long time since I had fever for 5 days straight as well as feel that ill non-stop.
Not only did I have the fever constantly, but I was so congested that after a few days I couldn't breathe anymore. Luckily for myself, this time I was smart and started steaming from day 2 which avoided the congestion from getting stuck in my lungs etc, a huge difference with the last time I had this issue.
Hospital appointment
One thing that worried me all weekend when I was ill was the hospital appointment that I couldn't miss because of the doctor only being available every three weeks if you cancel. I had to go and it was a bit nervewrecking going there knowing that I could fall into endless coughing sessions with some bad luck and long waiting. It wasn't until after 45 minutes of delay (sigh, we were patient 2 of that shift and yet 45 mins delay!) that my throat started nagging me and I had to cough a little. I brought a mask in case this would happen.
It wasn't until the next day that I realized I was very lucky to have that appointment on Monday because on Tuesday, I had a sort of relapse and coughing was at its worst and I couldn't have attended the hospital if the appointment was on Tuesday, dodged a bullet there, lol. It took me 9 days to be sort of back to normal, glad that's behind me.
Goldbacks!
I think today is a great time to share my next 2025 Florida Goldback in line, the 2 Goldback note. After this, I only have the 5 Goldback note left and then I can move on to sharing my remaining silver rounds..
Out of the 2025 Florida Goldback series, I think the pirate lady is definitely the coolest design but honestly, all the notes are great. There isn't one that disappointed me when I received them.
The 2 Goldback note is a first timer I believe that Florida introduced the 2 Goldback notes as well as the 1/2 Goldback notes. I'm happy they did because it added another affordable collecitble to my collection.
The 2 Goldback note contains 1/500th troy ounce of 24k gold, it's not much but it's something. I think you buy these for the collectible value not the gold as it's so little and probably smarter to buy fractions of gold instead.

Both my sons being adults now I wouldn't think I'd catch cold as easy and often as before but my youngest bought it home from work. He spent at least two days in bed before I got the sniffles part and that was it for me. Somehow I got a pretty robust immune system, so I tend to show less symptoms. That means I may carry it around not realizing I have a cold.

That's good if you have a robust immune system, here it's not always me who get's to be the affected one but this time I was. My runny nose is still not over after weeks.. but that's all that's left thankfully.
I started drinking tea when I was ill because I tried to get some relief in my throat by adding honey to it, I really dislike tea in general but I drink one every day now as it also avoids me from drinking more than 1 coffee a day..
I think the Florida goldbacks are especially nice, but I didn't buy any of the notes bigger than 5 Goldback as I then prefer buying silver instead.

Uhm, I don't know but the previous buys were only 1 GB and I was gifted one so that were three. From the Florida series I have 5 in total.. So I think I should have 8 Goldbacks in total but not 100% sure.
