Santa in September?
I hear you think.. LOL, well I'm not speaking about the regular Christmas celebrations here, nope, I'm speaking about the Silver Gold Stackers community's yearly secret Santa initiative. This will be the first year where I'm a member and will be able to join this cool thing where everyone can draw a name to send a shiny gift anonymously. To be completely honest, I'm not sure if the Secret Santa is open to non-members of the community but I always thought it was. Either way, this year, I'm not missing out!
Wish list
I was thinking that I should start creating a wish list soon so that I won't have to stress about what I'd ask during those already busy months that are coming. Better be prepared in time, right? After all, it's nearly October and before we know it the calendar says it's 2025. At this point, I have no clue about any of the items I'd want to ask even though I should be able to dig into my bookmarks and find a few that I could ask without high premiums. I shall make it a task the next week to sort those things out a bit.
Bit nervous
There's also this nervous feeling of me delivering something good enough to one of the other community members. What if I pull one of the OG members who already seem to have everything in their collection? What on earth am I going to buy on my side of the world that could still make them happy? I'm a bit nervous about that part.. but I'm sure it will be alright. Let the fun part start where everyone shares their secret Santa wish list once the kick-off is there..

This year is flying by way too fast! After Halloween I usually start to worry about Christmas, I think this year will be the same. Never bad to plan ahead though!

Oh Halloween is not really something I'm going to focus on here, besides my daughter celebrating that at school or maybe a parade somewhere.. I already know October is going to get busier and usually we get ill around that time as well so might as well prep that stuff a bit so I don't have to look around much ..

August, woah, that's REALLY early lol. I'm pretty sure if I go to certain stores now, there will be Christmas items already but not that much yet. First, Halloween :)

Well the idea is to do this around Christmas, hence the name Santa but for the gifts to arrive around December/Jan, the lottery of the names should be done a bit earlier (October is when they usually do it, I think).
