Just a quicky, going into my main Kroger Ogre grocery stop, and as usual I checked the coinstar no-armed bandit. I have a love/hate relationship with this thing, I hate that it takes a rather large % of the money one may change in the machine, but I also love the fact that it REJECTS any slugs, foreign objects and coins, and anything which the weight is not within spec.
...this includes SILVER COINS πͺ
This time, I find myself Harvesting a US Quarter. State Quarter, 2007, Idaho [(no, U DA HOE!!) π€£π€£π€£] so I'm not real excited. But I look at it a bit closer, anyway. Up to this moment, I've never seen a State Quarter from a Silver proof set, so I'm thinking I need to weigh this at home.
BINGO! πͺ π°
Yes, this was the 90% Silver type!
This one was slightly tarnished but looking very "AU" or "almost uncirculated", the weight was dead on for a new Silver Quarter π€
This was a mistake, or some overzealous kid got into mom or dad's coins, and it's now safely in Undy-Baby's Stash, FOREVER...
Here's the obverse, standard GW head, and you can see the tarnish.

Oh lucky Undy!
The grocery store with my favorite Coinstar closed it's doors for good with the Coinstar machine hauled away by the vendor two weeks before that. Found my only silver coin and a few fistfuls of foreign coins.
I still check others but they are always 'No Coins'
Congratulations @underground
the day I found this, I compared it's value to the depressed Silver prices, and the coin was worth....
$4.05 U$D
or 16.2x face value. Not bad for a free pickup!
Hope you, your family, pets and Leaf π are all fantastic my lovely young friend β€οΈ
