I've wanted to share this, but life and the holidays have kept me busy. Without further adieu, I bring you my Secret Santa gift.
Straight from the North Pole! I waited until Christmas Day to open it and see what was inside.
When I opened it I saw a plastic bag with some coins inside. Let's get a closer look.
I recognize the Standing Liberty Quarter! Looks like it's a 1926. Here are some specs I got from PCGS. Great source of info if you don't use it already to identify US coinage.
Now for the round I didn't recognize. I had to look this one up as I've never even seen it. I found out it's a 2019 1oz Montserrat Silver Emerald Isle of the Caribbean Coin.
It reminds me of a Philharmonic with its design. This coin has a very low mintage of only 25,000 and is the 5th release of the 2019 EC8 Series. Have a look at this beauty!
I couldn't be happier with this coin from my Secret Santa! Thank you.
I've been trying to keep up with everyone else opening their gifts but think I missed a few. If I missed you I didn't mean it. This year I hope to be more active on here.
That quarter so rough.. I like it!
Me too! I can only imagine the hands it has passed through.
That is pretty awesome. I have been waiting to see what you got. Looks like santa was very good to you this year! Nice haul!
I really like that round. First time I've seen it. Gotta love Secret Santa!
Awesome coin, my friend, it does remind me of a Philharmonic!😊
