Let me see if I understand, please correct me, do you collect silver coins? the one you published is a beauty! apart from its value in silver what is worth more is the history it has, is there a group on youtube? explain to me more please, it looks so interesting the subject!
A hug in the distance.😚😊
Yes. Both Silversaver888 and I collect certain silver coins, but we also store a part of our buying power/savings in the form of Precious Metals bullion. It is a protection hedge against currency debasement and inflation that fiat paper currency will always succumb to.
Your experience with the Venezuelan Bolivar was a result of gross mismanagement of the currency which led to hyperinflation that led to the black market use of the USD as a temporary fix. We believe the same fate awaits the US Dollar and every paper currency with no other reserve currency to fall back on.
I've even got an old 1965 2 Bolivar silver coin as an example;

You can find the community on YouTube and search, "Silver Stacking"
We do have a 'Silver coin collecting' Community here on Hive as #silvergoldstackers if you are interested.
Happy to answer your Questions @yenmendt 🦅
You have left me very surprised, you have done a lot of research on the subject and I guess you have not only made content about the coins of my country but of other parts of the world. Your analysis is very interesting and I agree that the depreciation of money not only happens here but everywhere, hence the trend to digital money, however, I had not raised this issue with precious metals, for example, silver is highly valued by Mexican and Chilean goldsmiths.
It is a topic to reflect on, I will search on youtube, a hug in the distance.🦅🦅🦅🦅
