RE: Will the remaining matches of IPL and T20 World Cup remain untouched by the third phase of the pandemic?

in 22 Yards4 years ago

Welcome to 22 Yards community and we are happy to see your First blog on this community dedicated to all Cricket lovers like you.

Yes, it's frustrating that many events from Cricket and other sports have to be cancelled, postponed or shortened as we have seen including the great Sporting event of Olympics as well.

Let's hope the September October period proposed for IPL's remaining matches in UAE gives Cricket fans something to cheer without much issues from pandemic CoVid 19.

As for as T20 World Cup, it's already postponed and any further postponing means, disturbing the busy schedule Cricket has over next 2 -3 years and let's hope for the best and the matches happens in the proposed period itself.

Coming to Zimbabwe vs Bangladesh test, it's a good opportunity for Zimbabwe to play against some of the more experienced players from Bangladesh and gain some experience as their Cricket has been in doldrums since quite some time and if we remember correctly, they were even stripped of test playing nation status.

Liton Das is a good prospect for Bangla and even he played good knock against India sometimes back and has been good in ODI's as well.

Once again, a warm Welcome to 22 Yards community and we hope you will be publishing a blog for this contest which is now running on this community.
