Hoy las nubes blancas y grises
Desfilan nuevamente en lo más alto.
No pude evitar conmoverme al verle:
El unísono de la vida,
El bien y el mal bailando juntos en
Perfecta sincronización.

Se alegró mi corazón al pensar en mi madre,
En su sentido del humor,
En las piruetas que hace su boca
Cuando sonríe.

No siempre viste hermosos azules
Mi cielo; no obstante,
Por una minúscula fracción de
Tiempo fui la criatura más feliz.
Le hice cosquillas a la vida
Y ella sonrojada me sonrió.
