Hello everyone, friends. In this article, I will tell you about a museum that I visited again. It was very different for me than anything else I had seen. Because this time we were going to enter a ship as a structure. This museum is located in İnciraltı, in the Balçova district of İzmir. In some of my previous articles, I talked about the activities I did around İnciraltı. I've been seeing this ship every time I come. But we couldn't enter because I had shortcomings in time and planning. We came to Balçova again as soon as we had the opportunity. This time, my wife @bilginhilal and I were going to devote most of our time to this point.
We did not use our museum cards as this place is not under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. We bought tickets for a small fee as two people. After reaching a certain number at the entrance, we were going to make our visit with a guide. This made me very happy. Because we would see and learn at the same time. In addition, our guide was really experienced and had a very good narration skill. When I heard that this ship was used as a warship, I was intrigued. We entered the ship through a narrow entrance. There were many rooms in the ship. Each of these rooms had different purposes. The kitchen, the dormitory, the police room, the infirmary, the rest rooms, the rank rooms, the radar room, the room specially designed for the war, the fire room... The inside of this ship, which looked small from the outside, was actually very large.
Let me tell you a little about the place that interests me the most. The war became the center of operations. I was seated right away in one of the seats. ☺️ There were too many buttons. Knowing each and every one of them is a real ingenuity. The interior of the room was dimly lit as it was illuminated with red light. But I think it was very cool. Here was a screen with information about the use of weapons used on the ship. Here, all the visitors with me were locked on the screen in amazement.
Then we went down a steep staircase. We came to a room opened for the exhibition of weapons and small model ships. There were old models of Turkish sailors here. The clothes of the period stood out. After examining the weapons and models, we came to the section where some equipment was exhibited. If I had the opportunity to own one of them, it would be a deep water submersible cap.
After a 45-minute visit, we came to the end of the tour. My wife and I left with the happiness of learning new information. We thanked the guide at the exit. Herkese merhaba arkadaşlar. Sizlere bu yazımda yine gezmiş olduğum bir müzeden bahsedeceğim. Benim için diğer gördüklerimden çok farklıydı. Çünkü bu defa yapı olarak bir geminin içerisine girecektik. Bu müze İzmir'in Balçova ilçesinde, İnciraltı mevkiinde bulunuyor. Daha önce bazı yazılarımda da İnciraltı çevresinde yaptığım aktivitelerden bahsetmiştim. Her geldiğimde bu gemiyi görüyordum. Fakat zaman ve planlama konusunda eksiklerim olduğu için girememiştik. Fırsatını bulur bulmaz yine Balçova'ya geldik. Bu defa eşim @bilginhilal ile zamanımızın büyük bir bölümünü bu noktaya ayıracaktık.
Burası Kültür ve Turizm Bakanlığı'nın bünyesinde olmaması sebebiyle müze kartlarımızı kullanmadık. İki kişi olarak cüzi bir ücrete biletleri aldık. Girişte belirli bir sayıya ulaştıktan sonra rehber eşliğinde ziyaretimizi yapacaktık. Bu beni çok mutlu etti. Çünkü hem görüp hem bilgi edinecektik. Ayrıca rehberimiz gerçekten çok tecrübeliydi ve çok güzel bir anlatım becerisine sahipti. Bu geminin savaş gemisi olarak kullanıldığını duyduğumda iyiden iyiye meraklandım. Gemi içerisine dar bir girişten girdik. Gemi içerisinde çok fazla oda vardı. Bu odaların her birinin amaçları farklıydı. Mutfak , yatakhane, polis odası, revir, dinlenme odaları, rütbeli odaları, radar odası, savaş için özel dizayn edilmiş oda, yangın odası... Gerçektende dışarıdan küçük görünen bu geminin içerisi aslında çok büyüktü.
Benim en çok ilgimi çeken yerden biraz bahsedeyim. Savaş harekat merkezi oldu. Koltukların birisine hemen oturdum. ☺️ Çok fazla düğme tuş vardı. Bunların her birisini bilmek gerçekten marifet. Odanın içerisi kırmızı ışıkla aydınlatıldığı için loş bir ortam vardı. Ama bence çok havalıydı. Burada gemide kullanılan silahların kullanılmasıyla alakalı bilgi verilen bir ekran vardı. Burada benimle beraber bütün ziyaretçiler hayretle ekrana kilitlendik.
Yaklaşık 45 dakikalık bir ziyaret yaptıktan sonra turun sonuna geldik. Eşimle yeni bilgiler edinmenin mutluluğu ile ayrıldık. Rehbere çıkışta teşekkürlerimizi ilettik. Benim de bir-iki defa İnciraltı Gemi Müzesi'nin olduğu kıyı şeridine gitmişliğim var. Fakat bir türlü içerisine girmek nasip olmadı. Rehber eşliğinde gezdiriliyor olmasına sevindim. Güzel fotoğraflar çekmişsin kanka, emeğine sağlık 👏🏻
