HAHAHAHA!! Nicely done :)
EDIT:
Also, if you’re like me and enjoy the hunt for the perfect boot, Matterhorn makes a freakin’ bomb winter style boot. Water proof (not good on a motorcycle in the rain lol), comfortable, safety toe option, and approved by the soldiers coming home from Baumholder. But their title as champion is contested, the other half of the long-termers out there swears by another brand…I can’t remember the name right now because I’ve had both and swear solely (aware of pun, but not intended…but don’t let that stop you from enjoying it if that’s your thing!) by the Matterhorns.
The old G-dog takes a bow, straightens and says, thank you.
Edit to your edit @albuslucimus:
I'm always on the hunt for good boots and you raised a good point which I didn't mention; these boots in this post are designed for dry weather desert use generally. You know, troops in the sandbox. I have a pair of wet weather boots and their design and make-up is completely different.
I've heard of those Matterhorn boots and even tried a pair on a while back when I trekked the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea. Good boots for sure.
I enjoyed your non-intentional pun by the way.
Hahaha! Very cool man, that’s awesome! From one boot aficionado to another, nice to know you’re out there my friend :)
