My father spent a lot of time when I was a kid introducing me to the wonders of the outdoors and I think it is absolutely incredible bonding time. Because of his instilling the interest in me it is something I do all the time now and I am very grateful that he introduced me to it. It can be a bit overwhelming for a beginner so it is fantastic that you and your son are doing this now.
