Thanks, it's not the greatest, but it does the trick. I blew a cylinder on my old truck, so I had to quick find a nice used truck. We can't do the offroading like you do, but it's a nice home away from home. My wife would be more than happy just going on the road as a "full-timer", but I like having a home base to come back to.
It's more about it being necessary. It honestly drives like a tank, but when you are towing 26 feet of trailer at 7000 pounds or so, it gets squirrely with anything smaller. Especially once you load all your stuff in as well as a full bed of wood. Tongue weight, axle weight, GVWR, and a bunch of other numbers all make a difference.
Yep, I figured if you saw this post you'd make a comment as I know you have a caravan. Nice tow vehicle too.

The home base is a good idea, that's what I'll be doing, swing home every few months or so for a week, doctors appointments and all then go again.
Sounds like a great plan!
Oh those are indeed getting more beautifull. I get what the Americans see in the big trucks... they are growing on me 😱

Nah for sure I can believe you on that one!
We don't have those beasts here... I mean you can import them but at a price.
Anyways... what size motor does that thing have?
6.0 Liter V-8 360 Horse Power 380 lb-ft torque Max tow capacity is 14,500 pounds.
