Happy Thursday everyone
Today I am sharing with you what things I changed about my FN F2000S rifle.
Short description of the firearm:
It is extremely light due to the polymer material, from which it is mostly made of. It is short due to its bullpup mechanism, so its good for use in CQB. The rifle is light and short, which makes it is easier to shoot without forward support. Easier to maneuver in confined spaces and is pretty reliable. On the rifle's top piccatini rail a red dot sight, Aimpoint M2 1x30 is attached.
Photos before the upgrade:
I have added a new handguard with 3 piccatini rails, one on each side and one on the bottom side. I am still thinking what to add on the sides (probably a flashlight or a laser pointer, or both). On the bottom rail I added a forward grip that can be angled either forward or backward, or can be kept in a neutral - straight 90 degree position.
I have not fired the weapon since the upgrade, but I did a lot of dry drills and found that I have the most stability when griping the rifle when the forward grip in angled forward as shown in the bottom photo. It may seem very strange. The middle and ring finger are wrapped around the joint of the forward grip, the pinky and index finger are pointing forward, one resting on the grip and the other just bellow the piccatini rail, and the thumb is pointed upward, slightly pressed against the end of the piccatini rail. I call this grip the Spider-man grip, since it looks the same as the hand gesture Spider-man does when he shoots his web. It is perfect for aiming stability when standing or kneeling without forward support, at least for me.

I have yet to test my rifle on the range and see how it goes. If everything goes according to plan, I will go to the range on Monday and will do and update post about how it goes.
I hope you like my content, feel free to follow me and have a great rest of your day :)

You're going to love that pistol grip for rapid fire drills. Looking forward to more shots and discussion of this!
