Hi dear Hivers, it has been a long time since I posted on Hive last time. I was so busy with my tour schedule. And one of the trips I did was a camping trip on an oasis in the middle of a giant lake, which I would like to share with you guys today. It was a memorable trip to Dak Tang lake, a giant lake with the length of 18km. And there are many oases, and we camped on one of them.
To get you to oasis, we rented a local fisherman's boat to carry camping equipment and things. The boat man even brought his motorbike on the boat to the oasis, because we need it to carry stuff from the boat to the camping site.
Before we arrived the campsite, the how old man gave us a boat trip around the lake. It's 18 km long lake, so there are many beautiful hidden corners. He took us to the dead forest. I mean the forest died because the lake level rose due to the construction of hydroelectricity. It was an exciting feeling when the boat got through the death forest. I think death also has its own beauty. Below are photos I took with my drone when the boat got through the death forest.
After then, he stopped at another oasis and took us though the forest to get to a hidden waterfall. It is the rainy season there, so there are many leeches in the forest. Some guests were so scared because they are from city. But finally they were so happy to get to the waterfall. Being in such beautiful nature is something luxurious for city people like them. We spent hours at the stream under the waterfall before heading to the campingsite.
After spending time at the waterfall and stream, we headed to the campingsite, which is on the top of an oasis. That's why we needed a motorbike to carry things. There were about 30 guests, so we prepared almost 10 tents. There is a long house built by the rangers, where we used as a dining house and place for group activity.
It was a valuable experience for everone to spend one night in a place in the middle of vast nature around. There have been many difficulties and deprivations. There was no bathroom, no toilet, no phone signal, not internet connection, no electricity. But I think that's good for people. The situation gave the guests the opportunity to really spend time for themselves and reconnect themselves with Mother Nature. We supplied them necessary ingredients to cook, essential stuff to survive in nature.
Despite the shortfalls, we had a wonderful time there. We had dinner together and shared personal stories. Early in the morning, we meditated together and connected with nature. Then we went rowing SUP and swimming in the lake. All have brought wonderful and memorable experiences to everyone.
Thank you very much for taking time to read my post. I hope you had a good time. And wish you a nice day.

I'm lucky to live a beautiful place I think.
What a great adventure you have been through. It is so beautiful there. The lush green, the skies' reflection of the sea, the overlooking view and everything there is so splendid.
So sad to know about the dead forest, hope this will not happen again.
Thank you very much @naymhapz
I hope you had a good time explore the place with me.
The forest is dead beacause of powerplant construction.
I really have a good time reading your blog. Thank you for this wonderful virtual tour. It seemed that I was there too.

This is one of the best when completely off-grid. The location is stunningly scenic, you always make our jaws drop :)
Skilled old man,how did he manage to balance his motorbike with all those loads like mounting to heaven,I'm hopeful that was light.
Thank you very much for your lovely words @franzpaulie
I admire the fisherman too. I cannot understand why he can do that. It's something related to his life skill, I mean that skill was born and practised from his life.
The place is so beautiful. I hope I can see a big Lake soon like that because the last time I saw a lake was so small here in our hometown, I hope I can visit that lake soon. I love also how you captured the whole place. I love also how you shots the lake.As I am also a traveler, I want also to experience like this. ☺️
You very much for your lovely words @preciousbree
I hope you can make it soon to visit big lake like this.
And I am looking forward to seeing your photos about that lake.
