Well today we go deep into the depths of our great mountain or hill as many caraqueños call the Avila many put improper or unwanted names to this majestic mountain, full of breathtaking views of the city of Caracas. Forests, trees, vegetation, flora and fauna. Since here everything abounds and you can see everything in my beautiful mountain that I love and want to enjoy every climb to the fullest as well as the group of friends and companions of hiking or mountaineering.
As I told you in my intro I hope to meet my fellow travelers here or even to meet new people who like to climb the Avila. In the short time I've been here I've been researching and investigating and even learning a little about the communities and those things to Hive. That's about the questions I was asked when I started.
Here in Dos Banderas there is one of the most powerful and steepest climbs of the mountain but also climbs much faster , than by route 77 . Since there are 77 curves to get to Rancho Grande , for this great adventure we stop at 4 am to climb and arrive early or during the day to Pico Naiguatá . Since that depends on your pace of road and step, some do it in about 12 hours of road, others in 6 hours , I came to hear of 2 hours .
To a great friend ultra marathon runner who no longer lives in Venezuela , it took us about 6 hours to reach our long-awaited Pico Naiguatá , here when you get to Dos Banderas is a small roof divided into two . It is ideal to rest that steep climb and then continue climbing to Pico Growing , where it is also ideal to rest and very little to make the summit of Pico Naiguatá .
Here with my beautiful group that accompanied me in every minute of our great adventure from the Urquijo, one of the most beautiful landscapes of our mountain and for your delight.
