Aquamarine serene...

I didn't want to go at first but I also found myself itching to get out - to smell the salty spray, to feel the fine mist settle on my skin. To look out onto the horizon of deep aquamarine. That colour that is so inviting and beckons you like a love sick companion from afar.

Come to me and tell me all your secrets

She seemed to whisper to my soul.

I obliged because like a siren, her call is unmistakable and undeniable.

Come to me and let me smooth all your troubles away

I'd had a long day and needed to unwind and while in her arms, everything in the world seemed at peace and the cares seemed to drift off with the sea spray of her arms whipping and caressing me, tousling my hair and enveloping me with the urge to run to her.

Come to me and let me be your solace while you cry

She has never waivered in the steadfast way that she holds me and rocks me back to sleep in a tumbling world where everything is too noisy and too fast for my beating heart.

Come to me and let help soothe your weary soul

All I could feel was her calling me through the green grass at the front porch or the blue sky where the birds wheeled in and out of view...the swallows have arrived but she never left me.

Come and play in the surf and let it wash your skin clear of the grime of the day

The bubbles on the water, ebb and flow of the tide...the beautiful serenity of the pure bluey green, reflecting the same colour of my eyes back at me. The flotsam and jetsam at ease with the current and the slow rhythm of her lifeforce; I could feel my heartbeat steady and fall in sync with her own and if flowed through me. Invigorating. Revitalising. Reviving my spirit, rejuvenating my passion, vivifying my enthusiasm for the day. For life. For love. For home and hearth.

She will never leave me, she lives within me always, I am part of her and happy to dance to her chanting melody of seasons and turnings, solstice and equinox. My second mother... Nature.

Nothing calms me more than the sea 💕

Beautifully written as always 😁 thanks for the slice of warmer days! It’s so nice to experience summer though my Southern Hemisphere friends, even when it’s negative 1 here 🤣

Oh my word @grindan that's way too cold for me. Have you had a lot of snow?

I'm not a huge fan of the cold weather, it sucks out my productivity so the warmer days are always far more busy than the winter months.

So far nothing too crazy, we live near Lake Erie, so it's super variable. Some years we get 2-3 feet a few times, sometimes we get less than 5 inches the whole winter !LOLZ

Very much agreed, I love snow, but it's not good for my mind 😂🤗

What an amazing text! Thank you for sharing this love for the sea and nature, your text was genuine.

I also feel this way, a few months ago I lived in a city that was at least 16 hours drive from the beach, when I felt sad or upset about something I stayed that way until it was over, many times until I slept and had a good night's sleep.

Now I am near the beach and in daily contact with nature, I feel that my problems last only until I take a walk in the nature, or feel the sea breeze and let it welcome me.

Thank you @dulcelara I really do love and appreciate the sea, I can't imagine living that far away from the beach. Taking a walk in a natural area is great at washing away the bad parts of the days.

Thanks for stopping by and having a read, I'm glad it resonated with you. 🐠

How beautiful you're feeling and living of the nature that transcends, it is the divine essence of being in us.

Thank you, Emma, everything you narrate is magical, I would like to be near the sea receiving its infinite blessings, Merry Christmas 2022, and receive a giant hug.🎄🌞

Nature always brings me back to the true me.

Thank you for your kind words @janitzearratia, I hope you had a beautiful Christmas too. Big hugs 🦋

How beautiful Emma you are, that's how nature lightens our burdens and makes us centered breathing, and grateful. Big hugs to you 🌞

This' pretty cool, you've figuratively pulled me to nature. Well I did like the pretty expressions in your article cheers and compliment of the season.

Thanks @davchi2 I have a bit of an affinity with nature and often feel it calling me when things get a bit too noisy and hectic for my liking. Compliments of the season to you too!

Beautiful.

I feel that way about the sea, too. I often wonder about the ancient primordial memories of my cells, if they get homesick for the briny soup from whence they originated, and if that's why the call of the sea is so influential.

Now that's something I've not thought of, being a tiny little amoeba...but makes sense why we have such a strong connection to the crashing waves and the sound of the swell.

Sending you love my Crow friend.

Nature is wonderful
Thing that we can’t just do away with. I thought u were speaking about something until I realized it was Mother Nature.

Great work done😊

Thanks for the kind words, I often feel strongly about nature, especially when I have been away from it for a while. This little trip to the beach filled up my need to be outdoors again and then I felt so much better afterwards.
