A few weeks ago I was encouraging my classmates in a photography course I attend to go to the Vivero de Guanabacoa. It is a place I like to go to because it is very relaxing and the nature is virgin. And they finally decided to go this weekend.
Some of my colleagues are bird photographers and here you can see a lot of variety from hummingbirds to cartacuba, which has excited them since we entered the site. In this blog I wrote last year you can see the entry to the site: https://ecency.com/hive-155530/@estilodereba/welcome-to-the-quiet-ricabal?referral=estilodereba
When you arrive at the Vivero, you are greeted by the owner Carlos and you can see a small house built by him, but when you keep walking further you are greeted by nature in all its splendor and purity. The place is so beautiful that photographers have sometimes come to take pictures of girls for their quinceañera photos and I was there last year with some friends to take pictures of my make-up and hairstyle: https://ecency.com/hive-147010/@estilodereba/womens-reflections-image-design-by-rebeca-bristol-eng-en-esp?referral=estilodereba
Being outdoors is simply relaxing and even more so in places like this, where you can breathe fresh air and disconnect from the outside world.
My companions and I went into the bush. They were looking for birds, my camera doesn't have a TV to capture birds so I was left photographing flowers which were mostly rosemary. There were also cows and bulls grazing.
Then my cousin and I took a path that would lead us to the river.
I love bathing in rivers, so it was hard not to go down and get my feet wet. I took off my shoes and walked across the famous ground to the river. The perspective from the river is different. I got my feet wet, my hands wet, but not the rest of my body because I was not prepared for it and I entertained myself by finding snails.
For people who like to photograph flowers, the nursery is the perfect place because you find a great variety. I find it beautiful to contemplate how the flowers look when you take pictures of them.
Of course, spending the whole day in the bush taking pictures was a bit exhausting. But we left the beautiful place very relaxed and happy. They had never been there before and want to go back again because there are few places in Havana that keep nature in such a good condition.
Oh @estilodereba que lugar más lindo, que parte es?
