You've nailed it.
People don't always get along and may in fact be counter-productive...I just don't see the point spending time on those people...I'd rather be alone somewhere out in a wilderness place feeling closer to the planet itself. That's why I love the outdoors and faraway places. Of course, I'm often there with my partner or a few others, but that's because I want them there, not have to have them there.
It's ok to be selective with the people we surround ourselves with, I believe it is vital to do so.
And I'll remember that. Someone resurfaced in my life recently. And it was thrilling at first. But really soon after, I remembered why I let this person go in the first place. And there it was, like a stone in my throat. But I didn't want to be dismissive.
But after having this conversation, I think I'll do just that. Because if you really look at it, no one is worth your peace of mind and life is way too short to surround yourself with people that take that away.
Yep.
It's a sap/zap thing.
Does the person sap away at your energy, lifeforce, positivity and so on? Or do they zap you, fill you with energy, positivity, happiness and the like?
It's a decision only you can make and it should be made based on you. Not them.
Yep. Decision has been made. Put myself first too. That's not usually an easy feat for me.
Thank you for everything, Galen. Honestly.
You're welcome. Hive is sort of special like this. It's funny, if you lived next door to me we wouldn't be talking like this, probably would say hello and that it...And here we are talking like this, two people with probably very little in common other than being human and on hive. That's why Hive is special.
Yeah, Hive is wonderful isn't it? We would have probably never exchanged more than three sentences in a month. But I wouldn't think so. People with interesting personalities would find a way to talk. Somehow.
