Cold river water to forget the boredom

I am connected to devices like my phone or PC practically all day, every day. That's why there are days when I decide to break the pattern and go out to enjoy the natural beauty.

I really like rivers, even though it's been a while since I visited one. I literally wrote in my WhatsApp status if anyone would like to go to the river with me.

Several people responded, but not everyone could make it, or perhaps it's so hard to break the routine that, as much as they want to, they don't do it.

Anyway, a friend whom I worked with on an audiovisual project a while ago responded. He is a biology student and, coincidentally, he is also fed up with everything digital. So, he said he wanted to go. I thought he wasn't serious, but in the morning, he messaged me that he was on his way.

We met up and went to La Cumaca, a village in San Diego, Venezuela. It's a place with mountains and pools of cold river water. We contemplated nature in silence and separately. I think it was an opportunity to stop so much digital intoxication. It's necessary, and ironically, I return to the online world to tell you about it.

Sort:

Hey how I miss the Cumaca, as soon as I can go to Valencia I have pending to go.
