Drove 4hrs one way yesterday to visit the new GlockStore in Nashville.
My expectations were to see an abundance of Glock stuff, especially accessories and customizations. Like you would find on their website: GlockStore
Sort of like a nice cross section of the online store, so I could check out stuff I was interested in.
While the store had lots of Glock pistols and accessories, it mostly wasn't anything I can't get at my local gun stores if I drive around to a few. There were some Glockstore holsters and mugs. As far as customizations and parts, there was some on display, but otherwise all I saw of customizations flashed by on the monitors. Maybe I was using the store wrong? There was what looked like a Genius Bar at an Apple store, but I admittedly didn't get in line for it. The whole store felt a little sterile.
Actually, only about half the displays seemed to be of Glock-related items. The other half was dedicated to rifles, a few AR uppers, and other brands of pistols.
Ironically, the only thing I ended up buying was a new mag release for my Ruger, but nothing Glock-related. Supplies of gun-related things are in turmoil now, so I'll give the store another go when I happen to be in Nashville in the future, but for now I don't see a reason to spend most of the day in my car to visit the store - I'll just order it online, at the Glockstore.
